Paper – stories from Facebook App Reviews

This app was the main reason I updated all of my iDevices to iOS 7.1.2. The UI was nearly perfect, and I held out hope that an iPad version was on the way. I personally would be willing to use this as a paid, ad-free alternative to the other Facebook app. Im sure Im not the only one that feels that way. But then I had to get a new phone. Gasp, I must bow to iOS 9. But what did I see? My beloved Paper. Joy! But no improvements. Pain.

Can we get the new like button updates please? Besides that.. Love this app!

I have been supporting this app since day one and it used to be the best app for your Facebook experience, but now it is so under featured compared to the normal FB app. Im going back to the old app until there is a major update for this app. I cannot not recommend this app anymore for new users. Shame!

I been using this app since December and I really like it but when I get messages they pop up then go away and that need to be fixed but other then that its great

Why theres no update since along time?

Facebook, please update this App. It had been a year since the last update. This is great App.

Love the interface. Love it way better than the facebook app. But it keeps shutting down every few seconds! Its very annoying. Its working fine on my husbands phone, I dont know whats wrong with mine! All other apps are working fine, so its probably not the phones problem...anyone else facing this issue? Re-installing, restarting etc. hasnt helped!

Doesnt load content (Wi-Fi & 4G), drains battery (10% charge at noon, instead of 80% when Paper uninstalled), freezes for 10 seconds or simply quits Please keep supporting this beautiful way of using Facebook - I cant stand the look and feel of the default app (=

Pictures and content dont load or load extremely slow on iPhone 6s. This is relatively new because previously I did not have issues with Paper. I have a bad feeling though the best Social app is not going to be fixed anymore.

I much prefer having one app to check Facebook and messages from rather than the two FB insists upon. Now, messages wont load in Paper. Id love to keep on using Paper but its quality is steadily declining.

The concept is amazing but: 1. The messages doesnt work. 2. Sometimes (when chat works) I cant send photos, I select the photo but doesnt look at the box of chat. 3. I cant reply comments. 4. Where are the actualization/upgrades!?

I had deleted my Facebook app and started using Paper. It was awesome. I do wish it had some of the features Facebook has (reading the comments as they are instead of trying to figure out who replied to whos comment). Recently Ive encountered a problem with the messages. It wont seem to let me read anything sent to me. Says due to internet connection yet the connection works fine with the app. Please fix these problems, because I personally would like to just use The Paper app instead of the Facebook app. Thanks!

make improvments in this app ...

We havent gotten an update in over a year! I loved this app.. I still do, but I find myself going on safari to log into Facebook mobile more and more... First, the "about me" sections of peoples pages dont show their birthdays, when they are displayed on their actual pages. Now, Facebook has come out with some major changes that Id like to see in Paper. For example, the new "reactions" in the place of the Like button and the ability to like and reply to comments; also the ability to edit posts is important. Sadly, Paper is no longer a replacement for the Facebook app and without an update, Im afraid Ill have to switch back.

When will it finally support individual comment replys like Facebook desktop and mobile?Also saving posts

Paper has been my alternative to Messenger since the switch, but since I updated to iOS 9.3, I can no longer receive messages due to a "connection error". Coincidence? Who knows.

Please update the app!!! It would be more useable!!

Paper is awesome to use. Beautiful, making a full use of the iphone capabilities and touch gestures. Its sleek, modern, sexy. Its quite fast and the tutorial makes it so easy to use. Awesome progress on that compared to the clogged trash that the Facebook app is. Missing features are yet preventing the app from getting 5 stars : - the ability to edit your posts or statuses (the other app finally does it). - integration of Facebook Messenger to switch from Paper to Messenger which is more convenient to write. - the ability to tag directly a person in your text without using the tag icon. - the impossibility to share through private message to one of our contacts. When that is done, we will be close. Edit : apparently Facebook pulled the plug on their most user friendly and beautiful app. Shame. I loved this app. Way more than the regular Facebook app.

I love both facebook apps! But this layout make me feel good.
